Deploy phishing reporting button - Gmail

Deploy the Google Email Reporting add-in to Gmail web and mobile clients

Overview

To deploy the phishing reporting button to GMail the following steps are required: 
  • Login to the CultureAI management platform
  • Follow the link to the Google Marketplace
  • Deploy the add-in

This process is explained in detail below and will automatically deploy the CultureAI phishing reporting button to Gmail, Web, iOS and Android.

Deployment

1. Login to the CultureAI management platform and browse to the phishing configuration page

The management platform can be accessed from the following URL:

https://platform.culture.ai

From the sidebar, navigate to Data Sources & Integrations (highlighted in yellow), or navigate directly to CultureAI Reporter directly from the Overview page (highlighted in purple)

From the Data Sources & Integrations page, you can access CultureAI Reporter from the list:

 

2. Click the "Go to Marketplace" link

From the CultureAI Reporter page, click "Go to Marketplace":

If prompted by Google, ensure you are logged in to an account with sufficient permissions to deploy GMail Add-ins.

3. Start deployment wizard

Click "Domain Install" to start the deployment process:

Click continue on the initial notification:

4. Review Permissions

The CultureAI reporting tool requires a wide range of permissions including access to read the content of the email the user is reporting and access to the internet so reported emails can be submitted for Triage (and forwarding to specified email addresses depending on configuration).

These permissions and usage have been reviewed by Google as part of the validation process for Marketplace listing.
